Sort of. I was hanging outside the Stone Pony during the soundcheck for
David and Hot Tuna. It was an outdoor concert so there was only a chain link
fence between me and the stage. David and his Angel Band were going to do
this song with Electric Hot Tuna. David was shouting out the chord changes to Jorma, Jack, and Barry
during the soundcheck and I was furiously writing them down on the back of
my hand. Unfortunately, the sound man for the show was apparently hearing
impared, because during the show the microphone for the Angel Band's three
singers was off for most of it.
